A Pinotage from both old and young vines on shale / clay - grown and made in Burgundy (Pinot Noir) style, in a cool Elgin climate. Matured for 11 months in French oak, 80% new. It's a racy, cool climate expression of the grape, with tangy red cherry and raspberry fruit, stony intensity, whole bunch spices and a hint of good reduction.
